Monday Morning Paddle (Day 3 - June 17)

I started my week off this morning with a solo early morning paddle on Lake Ontario in Kingston harbour.  Other than a few sprinkles at the start, it was warm calm and quiet other than some communter traffice heading over the 'singing' bridge (Lasalle Causeway).  The Wolfe Island Ferry was loaded up with school buses taking kids from the island to high school in the city.

So while the Monday morning hustle was well underway I drifted along almost silently in my kayak past Royal Military Academy , Fort Henry and out and around Cedar Island (one of the St Lawrence Islands National Park).  A great thing to do as part of National Paddling Week.  What are you doing special today (or later this week) for National Paddling Week?
